Greetings programmers!
The organizers have been working really hard to put together great set of workshops this coming Saturday! We're looking forward to seeing you all then!
This is a final reminder that if you plan to attend the afternoon sessions on Saturday that are involved in either Twitter or Yelp, you MUST complete the steps on these pages BEFORE SATURDAY:
Twitter: https://wiki.communitydata.science/Twitter_authentication_setup Yelp: Nhttps://wiki.communitydata.science/Yelp_API_Key
If you want the option of going to both session, you must do both.
The back-story is that using either Twitter or Yelp requires applying for access and having your application reviewed and approved by the company. If you do not apply days in advance, you will not be able to participate in the Twitter or Yelp sessions on Saturday afternoon. We'll explore more on Saturday.
We will *also* be running a parallel session on using data from Wikipedia. This session does not require any special access so anybody who does not apply in advance so everybody who shows up will be able to work on this afternoon session.
We're looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday morning at 9:45am!
Regards, Mako
